Buildings & Sites For Development

East End, Chewton Mendip

This group of properties, about 2 miles from the centre of Chewton Mendip and well away from the main road, was once a working farm, but is now awaiting renovation by the estate. Set in open countryside, there are three large unconverted stone barns, all with Residential Planning Consents, and one large house, which is in the process of being renovated.  There could therefore be four separate houses on the site in the future; there is room for driveways, garages, gardens, even a tennis court.  Some infra structure work has already been undertaken, namely the installation of mains water and drainage.

The Old School, Radstock.

This very large Victorian building located near the centre of Radstock, Bath, was used as a large school, with a school master's house at the front.

The former school master's house at the front of the school, has now been restored and let.

The remainder of the old school is now derelict, planning consent is being sought to demolish it and to fully regenerate the site. There will then be a site behind the restored school masters house on which a further five houses could be built.

The whole complex is in a very nice position close to the Church and local ammenities, its much anticipated regeneration will further compliment the other larger regeneration projects being carried out in Radstock.

Development of the site may be undertaken by the estate alone, or in conjunction with a builder/developer. Alternatively the whole site may be sold to a developer.
